Waipio Valley

features a mile wide black sand beach, miles of great hiking, river, waterfalls, taro farms and awesome views from nearly everywhere you go.

There are horseback, mule wagon and 4x4 rides in the valley and on the ridges above but it is not crowded at all.

Please preserve the taro farmers privacy by staying off their land and not taking pictures without their permission. Thanks.
